A few things we'd like you to know about our patterns, shipping, etc.
Payment: Please pay by Paypal, which offers you the flexibility of using your credit card, Paypal balance, or bank account -- using the link provided on the shopping cart. Paypal also makes international orders more convenient. We are not equipped to accept credit cards directly. If you don't have a Paypal account, we also accept (U.S.) personal checks or U.S. postal money orders. (In that case don't use your shopping cart -- go to the "Contact Us" page, fill out the form, and in the comments section, indicate what items you are ordering and that you are paying by check. We will confirm your order and provide a total including S&H and the mailing address.)
Return Policy: Sorry, no returns on patterns. Other items may be returned within 30 days for a refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping/handling charges). (Original tags must still be on garments).
Shipping and Insurance: We try to keep our shipping costs to a minimum. Patterns are sent by first-class mail; other items will be sent priority mail. Insurance is required on any order totaling $100 or more. For shipping outside the U.S., please e-mail us for a quote.
A Word About Copyright: Some material is offered free on this website as Tips and Techniques. Otherwise, all patterns and other materials sold are original and are copyrighted; your respect for copyright laws will be appreciated. Copyright laws permit you, the buyer, to copy for your own use (let's say you want a copy you can fold, mark up, etc.) but not to distribute to others. We know it's a big temptation, in the age of instant copies and electronic distribution over the internet, to run off a batch for your friends but we hope you won't. It's theft, and in the long run it just means that those of us who put our time and effort into designing and producing these patterns will be unable to afford to do so. We reserve the right to restrict future sales to known copyright infringers.
Mailing List: Don't worry, you won't be deluged with E-mail, and we won't be selling your address to anybody. But if you'd like to know when we post new items, you can share your e-mail address with us (below) and we'll be in touch.
